About us

We believe environmental education is important.

We believe in the importance of encouraging children to use their creativity to find solutions to sustainability challenges and helping them to believe in their ability to effect change.

We believe all educators should be supported to equip children with the best possible mindset and resources, to create their own more sustainable future.

Wastebuster and the United Nations

On 25th September 2015, 193 world leaders adopted a set of global goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each of the 17 Global Goals aims to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality & injustice. Fix climate change.

At the heart of the Sustainable Development Agenda is the call to action for everyone to do their part: governments, the private sector, civil society leaders and individuals around the world.

Wastebuster supports the work of UN Environment by developing multi-stakeholder partnerships to share knowledge, expertise, technology, and financial support to develop world class education programmes and campaigns, specifically to support delivery of Goal 4, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 17.
