As they worked with Wastebuster towards their Eco-Schools Green flag award, the children at St Edmunds Catholic Primary School learnt how products are recycled, how to make positive changes both locally and globally, how to debate environmental issues effectively and why composting food waste is such a great thing to do. Their head teacher Mrs Bullen said, “To be asked to be part of this venture was a fantastic opportunity for the children. It enabled us to bring the eco schools agenda right into the classroom and to become part of the curriculum in a meaningful and purposeful way for the children”
