Caboodle Theatre
Caboodle Theatre in Education has an exciting range of educational performances and workshops that help educate young people on important social and environmental issues. Our performances and workshops are great fun, inter-active, provide cross curricular links and allow pupils to experience high quality arts education!

Green Up Your Act Education
Teaches the meaning of sustainability through imaginative school workshops which encourage students to become inspired and empowered to protect their direct environment.

Oxfam School Speakers
Available in England and Wales, Oxfam School Speakers are fully trained volunteers who can share their knowledge and passion with students of 8-18. New this year is a workshop on sustainable farming, and understanding where our food comes from.

Marine Conservation Society
Runs a Cool Seas road show which can visit your school, to deliver an education on marine wildlife and the million and one reasons why it deserves to be protected.

Thames Water
Has a number of dedicated and passionate employees who are available to come and talk to community groups about what they do and how they do it.

The Environment Centre
the Environment Centre (tEC) is a leading expert providing sustainability know-how for homes, communities and businesses, from incisive research and advice to implementing practical project management. Workshops are available to schools which link with the curriculum.


South East

Animate and Create workshops
All workshops are led by professional animators dedicated to furthering education in a fun and hands-on environment. All workshops link to the curriculum through ICT, Literacy, PSHE and Citizenship for all Key Stages.

Brighton Permaculture Trust
Brighton Permaculture Trust promotes greener lifestyles and sustainable development through design. It runs eco clubs and works on improving grounds in a number of schools, one of which won an award from the BBC’s Breathing Places programme. It also plants mini school and community orchards across Sussex with partner Action in rural Sussex.

Cultivate is an education collective that draws on art and gardening to engage the creative power of young people. It runs custom workshops and after-school clubs alongside garden creation projects that equip children of all ages with the experiences and understanding needed to adapt to the changing climate and environment.

Southern Water
Southern Water offers talks to schools: the 45-minute talks look at just how much is involved in supplying clean, fresh water 24 hours a day, the challenges we face as a result of climate change and how we can all play our part in conserving this precious resource.

Sussex Wildlife Trust
The Sussex Wildlife Trust is the leading nature conservation organisation covering East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove. Its outreach programme includes workshops which are highly practical and will generally involve working outside in your school grounds or with a selection of mini beasts and plants brought in from one of its reserves.

Young People’s Trust for the Environment
A charity which aims to encourage young people's understanding of the environment and the need for sustainability. Education officers will host talks in school, some are free, depending on your location.
